Founded the Department of Life Sciences, College of Education, University of Dhi Qar in 1993-1994, and after splitting the college in 2012 into two faculties, one scientific pure and the other humane, the Department of Life Sciences became one of the departments of the Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences,The Department grants a Bachelor of Science degree in life sciences after preparing and preparing students for four years for graduates to work as teachers in secondary schools, vocational schools and Iraqi institutes, or to complete graduate studies.     In order to provide the thesis to graduates with a specialization in life sciences, in 2002-2003 the postgraduate / master’s degree and the doctorate were opened in 2013-2014.
